First Annual Conference, Kranjska Gora, Slovenia. 23-24 October 2014.

The Action held its 1st Conference, entitled “Performance and maintenance of bio-based building materials influencing the life cycle and LCA” at Kranjska Gora, Slovenia on 23 – 24 October 2014.

  

  

The Conference attracted 74 attendees (47 men / 27 women), of whom 30 were Early Stage Researchers. The Conference was split into the following Sessions, where details of the presentations can be found:

Session 1: Life Cycle and Performance (6 presentations and a keynote address by Alberto Cayuela, University of British Columbia, Canada)

Session 2: Mould and Staining fungi (5 presentations)

Session 3: Poster session (12 short presentations)

Session 4: Mould and moisture (6 presentations)

Session 5: STSM session (4 presentations)

Session 6: Durability (6 presentations)

Session 7: Composites and non-wood materials (7 presentations)
