International Panel Products Symposium (IPPS) 2015

print

The composite manufacturing sector represents a major industry for the use of wood and non-wood fibres. Products such as plywood, oriented strand board (OSB), medium density fibreboard (MDF), particleboards and fibreboards are commonplace in modern society. Increasing the performance of these products will help increase market opportunity and introduce new products. The International Panel Products (IPPS) is one of the main international conferences dealing with all aspects of panel products.

Founded in 1997 as the European Panel Products Symposium (EPPS) and changing its name to IPPS in 2007 to accommodate increasing global interest, IPPS is the leading technical conference on wood based panels, including all aspects of panel production technology, feedstocks, resins and additives, market analysis and the use of wood based panels in furniture and construction applications. The full conference runs every two years, and in the intervening year a Masterclass allows a focused look at important topics in a more informal learning-friendly environment.

In 2015, COST FP1303 combined forces with IPPS to hold a joint conference. The programme from the conference can be downloaded here, whilst the presentations from the FP1303 session can be downloaded below.
